It is such an exciting time when baby turns one! First birthday parties bring families together to watch babies take their first steps, say a few simple words, and wave “bye-bye!” These developmental milestones are things that most girls are able to do when they reach a certain age. She knows what toys she likes and often requests to play with the same favourite things. She will recognize the names of familiar items, form simple phrases and short sentences and can follow one-step instructions.
